Air Approvals Administration – Delete a User

There may be a need to delete a user from the system if they are no longer an employee and the administrators no longer want to see them in the system.

Note: A user cannot be permanently deleted from the system. Any deletes are only soft-deletes and simply prevent the data from being displayed on the administration screens. It is still possible to view the deleted users by using the search options on the user list screen.
  1. Sign on to the Air Approvals Gateway as an Administrator.
  2. From the ‘Users’ tab, select the ‘Active Users’ link.
  1. On the ‘Users’ page, either locate the user in the list or enter the username into the ‘Username’ and select ‘Search
  1. Click the user’s username to access the ‘User Details’ page.
  1. On the ‘User Details’ page, select the ‘Disable’ button.
  1. Enter some text to note why the user has been disabled then select OK.
  1. The following message will be displayed.

A user can be deleted or reinstated by clicking the ‘reinstate’ button on the ‘User Detail’ page.
