How do I make a user have read only access

We are commonly asked how a user can have read only access to Financials.
To do this you need to add the ENQUIRY ONLY security group to their user id.
Follow the steps below.
Access the following menus: Systems Admin>System Wide Controls>Users and Roles>Users
Locate the user you would to add the read only security group to.
Use the Amend action.
Access the Security/BEM tab.

Change the security group to ENQUIRY in all four fields.
- Non-Company
- Company
- Report
- Report Company

Once complete, select Update.
When the user next logs into Financials, they will have no update access.
